ArtisTech Media and Creative Commons Announce a New Trademark Agreement for ccMixter

Hey Mixters! We are so excited to present you with ccMixter’s new logo, designed by our very own Airtone. Tomorrow we will share an interview between spinningmerkaba and airtone that gives insight into airtone’s creative process and the journey that got us to our new look.

Our new logo is part of our new trademark agreement with the Creative Commons organization — that grants ccMixter full autonomy moving forward. Our community will have more flexibility, independence and opportunities to do what we do best — create music together.  And, the logo was designed by one of our very own Mixters--airtone!

In spirit of our newly independent relationship with Creative Commons, we’ve updated our CC licenses in our submit forms to 4.0.
