Winter Lights, Winter Nights
'Tis the season to be jolly -- or melancholy. Whether you're green and red, or blue and grey, there are songs on these two albums that will ring your bells, keep you warm and make you smile. It's our way of sharing the gift of music from the community that remixes the holidays for everyone, Grinch and elves alike.
Winter Lights is an 18 song collection featuring remixes of traditional holiday music and uplifting songs of the season. Winter Nights is a 13 song collection of remixes that would make Scrooge smile in ironic glee. Both collections were curated by the staff here at ccMixter, and mastered by ccMixter team member and producer Zep Hurme. These holiday compilations are available at Jamendo, Bandcamp and Tunetrack.net.
Winter Lights and Winter Nights were compiled from the archives of holiday music that ccMixter artists have generated from previous holiday remix events. Currently, we are holding this year's remix event "Under The Tree." If you like what you hear on these albums, be sure to check out the new mixes as they come in (or contribute one!).
