Nice! That's a problem I deal with all the time.
One thing, though, is that I suspect you still have to hand-adjust every time because the latency wanders depending on what else is happening on the machine. But maybe it just doesn't matter given that the amount of wandering tends to be pretty low.
Cool. I thought someone might find this video useful.
I was banging my head on this issue for a while since upgrading to the new Audacity Beta release recently.
