Good By DiSfish!

Marco Raaphorst & Cezary Ostrowski co-founded DiSfish Records had to close, because their "donate if you wish" system was not working. That's all. We had a Dream... Goodbye DiSfish!

Well I'm reading a book that emphasizes that importance of tinkering and I would claim DisFish was the perfect tinker. Sorry it didn't work out, long live the tinkerers.

THanks to Marco and Cezary for all their hard work..I met some fucking brilliant Polish jazz musicians through the Fish..my prediction is that it will come back..maybe as something else.

Shame - it looked like a really good site. Let's hope for a phoenix from the ashes.

it was a good site.. some really good music that you wouldnt find anywhere else... Jamendo has a similar idea but they earn revenues from adverts - i think that can be very important in the long run.

DiSfish has been a huge help to me. I am sorry to see it close. I'd love to see a different way rise from its ashes, but that won't change my appreciation for the phoenix it already has been.

Thanks for all the kind words. I can understand Cezary's decision.

At the moment I am working on a huge project for Dutch radio. It will be 100% CC based. We will use ccMixter and also upload all our content.

The future for CC looks bright.
